The 740Li adds to that heated front seats, illuminated rear visor mirrors, and a load-leveling suspension. This engine is a peach and in the 760Li it gathers speed like a train, relentlessly, with a creamy potency that only a V12 can deliver. At a quick glance you wouldn't be able to tell the 760Li apart from its slightly less lavish siblings, the 740Li and 750Li, except for the quad exhaust tips or the obvious decklid badge that hint at a need for more breathing capacity. The V12-powered 760Li, meanwhile, accelerates with complete authority for those who somehow think a twin-turbo V8 is a tad weak. The fuel consumption will be amazingly low for a V12, anyway.
What the 760Li does do rather well though, is fill the role of flagship, and for a certain type of buyer that will be reason enough to have one. Despite hauling an additional 200kg, the Ghost is only a third of a second slower. A welcome move, we'd say. So how do you distinguish a V12 7 Series from the lesser versions? The Li indicates the extended-wheelbase body style, while the 750 models can be equipped with xDrive all-wheel drive. I don't doubt that this car is technologically advanced. I thought this would correct the problems because they replace some sensors and vacuum hose but the problem is still there.
