Andy Dogge, Personally I am not that bothered, as I personally don't think its that bad if its a road car that will do occaisional track time. Is it as simple as taking the tranny apart, sliding the gears off, and putting a new syncro in? The 01E is not going to be that much better in the long run. Sound like a syncro to you? I will be taking it out for a drive this weekend with the rebuilt box fitted so I will be able to tell you how good it is.
Where would I get the part s? Any gearchange above 4000 rpm resulted in grinding along with down shifting gears into 2nd. Just haven't proven completely that it would work.
