Overall, this book will be appealing to readers looking for a great dark romantic suspense read and are not afraid of some hard limits. She has had no real choice in the matter. This series is certainly not for the faint of heart but, if you are willing to take a ride through the dark and twisted side than this one is for you! He let her be, never pushed her to do something that she wasn't comfortable of doing. It's heartrending how much a person can endure to protect the people they love. Poor Evie tragedy struck her life, leaving her to endured way too much loss for one person.
Devastate has affected me on a personal level. In the best way possible. Lior can see there is more to the girl that has caught his attention and he wants to peel the layers to discover more about her, but he could get more than he bargained for. It would appeal to fans of dark romantic suspense. I cried, smiled, and damn well felt my heart shatter.
Well not at all, Devastate is worse! And this book was no different. I feel like every tiny morsel of a detail could be a possible spoiler. There wouldn't be Devastate without him! She's in a dark place. I 've been looking forward to this book since I read the last book. I hope Marley gives him his own book.
A is for Alpha B is for Books. I highlighted half the book, I literally felt like jumping up and down like a high school cheerleader, no joke. He sees the pain in her eyes and the vacant stare but yet can't seem to stay away. Nearly being sold to a sex trafficker being abducted held against your well and being abused well have that effect on you. It draws you in from the very first page. Luckily the people in her life refuse to give up on her.
Evie is a damaged soul, just living day by day in the same routine, existing. Java, tobacco, and dark romance novels are her favorite indulgences, and might be considered more unhealthy than her aversion to sleeping, eating meat, and dolls with blinking eyes. I think the best was her lack of filter. Tiago Badell is the crime Lord who has surpassed Van Quiso in cruelty and Matias in absolute power. Started with the first word, I devoured this entire book without stopping! I absolutely loved it, and could not put it down, starting last night and finishing this morning.
If this is Marley Valentine's debut novel, I can't wait to see what she has in store for us later! I can't get enough of this world, I'll take a book from every character. She is the best of the best when it comes to this genre in my opinion. A child and a husband. And the less you know about this story, the better. The characters are well developed and I really liked them. Lior is patient, compassionate and kind. Not only is she grieving the loss of the two most important people in her life but she faced more heart ache in a short amount of time then anyone should have to deal with in a life time.
Un viaje a través del dolor y la pérdida y sobre todo las segundas oportunidades en la vida, no te la vas a querer perder. I really tried with this book! We all deserve to have our story told, and Marley has given us such a beautiful voice! This story is full of hope and love. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it to all lovers of dark romance. How ironic that loving someone was the thing that hurt the most. It's a short book but it still felt dragged on. Most importantly, Tate evolves as he learns from his past and embraces who he is now.
Just a special mention to fans of Van because this man, he kinda stole the show for some parts. A dark and make you say!!! The mystery surrounding her was thick. For me every good book has this point where they hold me with a vice grip and make me read them non-stop. They even made me laugh at time, which I never thought would happen. But in this book that point never came and i kept waiting for that boom and bells.
