It is typical for the premiere and the finale to be heart stoppers full of fun, action, comedy, and surprises, but this one was not typical for the most part. Steve questions that he thought that Kamekona was coming in as a silent partner. Finally Steve gives in and pauses his video to give Danny the floor. He then tells the others that Steve wants Danny to name the restaurant after him. Meanwhile, Danny's car is stolen while he is out with his kids and he commandeers a bus to chase down the thieves. Danny is surprised saying that he has never known Steve to apologize that quickly or ever for that matter. Junior asks what is going on and Steve tells them that four days prior, there was a mutiny at sea on this foreign vessel.
Panicking in typical Danny style. Season 6 begins with Five-0 investigating a centuries-old Oahu palace raid involving pirates, buried treasure and a killer who is using a stolen painting as a map. Steve approaches the sub and is greeted by three soldiers, two holding guns on him. Steve gives Kamekona the contract that he needs to sign. Malkin lets him know that he will do everything that he can to help but at the same time, his hands are tied with Moscow. Kamekona suggests that he put it on speaker and as Steve is walking out, Danny asks why he would put that call on speaker.
Also, McGarrett finally learns why Catherine left him, and Abby continues to conceal her actual mission from Chin and Five-0. Steve asks where the man who shot the captain is. He then asks the guards if he can borrow their motorized raft. They get him out into the water and Danny tries to stop him. Steve asks where the captain is and he is shown. Malkin is surprised that they found this out.
Malkin says that he heard that Petrov suffered some kind of tragedy when he was a child and he thinks that perhaps Petrov has just snapped. Danny informs the trio that there is not going to be any cookbooks. The accident occurred during a scene where McGarrett is chasing a carjacked vehicle in a parking garage. Steve questions what they need licensing rights for and Nahele tells them cookbooks, sauces, pasta. He unholsters his gun, places it in the raft, turns around to show them that he has no other weapons on him and then a fourth soldier appears dropping down a ladder.
